It takes me about an hour to push now my grass. My mower is on its last leg.

I’ll probably replace it with a small lawn tractor.

It was taking me an hour to push mow it, do all my edging, then blow it if I was moving fast. I bought a zero turn this spring and feel totally justified with the purchase!

i have a small yard, it took 1 hour to cut with push mower, sometimes 90 minutes in august as i had to take a break to cool off with a cold drink mid way

i went buy a rear engine snapper mower and its perfect, they are small at 28" and 33" deck size so its like a push mower you ride on rather then push, but its the best way to go

to answer your question, push mower if you can do it in 30 minutes, after that get a snapper rear engine rider for small yards. they can u-turn inside a 4ft wide circle

stick with the snapper rear engine riders, they are 1000x better then the others that just try to copy snappers

there isnt a better small riding mower then a snapper

About an hour but it depends on the layout too. Maybe more accurate to say I would prefer not to push mow a rectangular tract bigger than about .25 to .5 acre.

I have a 52” for sides and back yard. I keep the front cut with a Honda push. That part takes about 20-25 min.

It takes me about 1.5 hours to push mow my yard. I can't fathom why I would need a riding lawnmower for that.

Add another hour for weedeater, edging, and blowing and its really not that much effort.

I had to push mow 5 acres as a kid. It would take me all weekend.

My yard is 7,000sqft. Push mow it with a non self propelled mower and it takes me right at an hour. Can cut, edge, weirdest, blow in under 2 hours.

I agree I do enjoy mowing my yard but we just don’t have a lot of time with two small kids and both of us working full time.

Plus I think I would cut it more frequently if I had a small rider which would be healthier for the grass.

It’s all about time and not about physical work for me. Let’s say the lawn is almost ready to cut (like a day or two away) and then the forecast calls for 100% chance of rain and I have to work a little late and get home at 6:00. I want to be able to mow the lawn quickly. That’s why I have a zero turn mow the lawn and trim work in a little over an hour. I wouldn’t be able to do that with a push mower. I have .60 acres.

I would say...1 hour and 15 minutes. But I could see a range on either side of that for 15 minutes less or more.

Exercise is good. Mine takes about 50 minutes with a push mower (full speed no stops)and let's say 15 minutes more with trim and blow.

This. I didn't save much time, if any, with a rider, but I sure feel better when I'm done.

An hour since that’s about how long it takes me on my riding mower. I don’t want to do any more than that
