Just what it sounds like.. have a giant shrub that I noticed today was swarming and buzzing. What's the best way to tackle killing everything inside? I'm currently doing a suspend SC treatment on my house....will spraying the shrub help any?

If you are not bothering them they wont bother you and are great pollinators let them be.

If its bees, they are probably swarming and will move out of the area. If they don't call a local beekeeper to come remove them. They will be happy to do so.
If wasps...torch it?
No but honestly that would depend on your exact situation (bush type, where in the yard, etc).

I had a wasp nest in a bush right by the front door. Took a hose with a pretty good nozzle and knocked it down with that. The wasps didn't seem too aggravated...I guess they think it is just a really bad storm? If any came around I just squirted them.

Wait until late evening when they are more dormant, then pour warm soapy water on them. The soap stops them from being able to fly, they'll fall to the ground.

Yea I wouldn’t have belived it until I actually tried it. Had a large amount of them on my house once. Called bee keepers and they actually didn’t want to bother, I was told just mix dawn dish soap and water in one of those plastic weed sprayers. Man they dropped instantly on contact.

Hmmm think I'll try that then! Thanks it seems to be mainly bees, but I've seen a wasp pr two around it too.
I think I'll let em be for awhile, and use this if it gets bad

Cover it with plastic sheeting and pump it full of wasp killer. I’d buy a case of something that has instant knock down power. There a term they use for it in the pest control business but I don’t recall it.

mix 50/50 solution of pine-sol and water in a sprayer and then soak the bush good.
bees hate the smell of it and they leave
this also works anywhere you have a space you want to keep bees out of like boats and patios
