How many cuts a year do you cut? I say 42-44 here in zone 9b, south Louisiana.

I’d say somewhere around 30-36. Usually at least once a week when it’s growing. Stop around November and start up again in March/April.

Usually put around 50-75 hours a year on the mower.

My guess would be in the 25-30 range. South LA, St. Aug/Centipede.

~4 of those “cuts” are for leaf/debris management. Grass doesn’t really need it.

20-25, depending on rain. I’ve got a lot of clover and bees love clover.

52 weeks minus 2-3 months.

So 40-45ish.

My lawn guys cut weekly but there’s times it’s too wet to mow and the winter which they don’t cut unless I call them. I’ve had them mow once since November and probably will have them mow another time before growing season starts.

Probably around 32-35 times per year.

I’d guess around 100. I’m reel mowing 2x a week at 5/8” from March through November. Plus I do winter rye in my backyard that keeps me mowing a couple times a month all winter. And leaf clean up.

I did winter rye my first year and didn’t last year.

FYI. People who mow their grass twice a week are psycho

Probably ~60. I mow twice a week from mid-spring to late fall and once every other week from late fall to mid spring. NW Alabama.

In Memphis I really won’t start until very late April to early May. Stop in Oct.

This year is looking like I’ll be starting a little early unless Feb and Mar are cold.

Some of June it will need mowing about every 5 days.
ETA: mix of Zoysia and Bermuda.

I understand ole baw.....I'm in the same boat. Mow WAY more than necessary. I do it to please the wife, she likes a well manicured lawn. I pass multiple times in the winter just to mulch leaves, etc.

Today is mow #1.

probably 2 for jan, feb, nov, dec
4 for mar, oct
6-8 for april, may, jun, july, aug, sept

So that estimate would put me at 58.

in the spring/summer, it's usually one full cut per week with edging, weed eating, and blow and one just pass with the mower and blow.

My number would be a lot higher if it didn’t rain so much where I live and a large portion of my lawn holds water. I fixed some of that in the fall. But I love grabbing a cold beer on a hot afternoon and riding around mowing. I listen to a podcast and it’s really a mental break for me.

Y'all are crazy. Twice a month for us, even in the growing season. Backyard gets it even less than that. We have a lawn company do the front, and the do all the edging and weedeating that I hated. They come out every 2 weeks. I mow the back about every 3-4 weeks.
