How do you deal with neighbor's weeds encroaching?

I have Zoysia grass right up against my fence and Centipede way in the back so I put a well placed nozzle directed right under the fence and spray Roundup 365 a few times a year. I'll also spray a highly concentrated mixture of Quinclorac a couple times to kill the Torpedo grass. You can see in the neighbor's yard where I pray under the fence. F*ck him!

Either continue what you are doing or offer to treat that strip of yard every time you treat yours.

Nice yard you have there. I know it takes a lot of work and attention to keep it that way.

Good neighbors are a blessing. His interest/concern about his yard are obviously not the same as yours.

Don't know what else you can do. Sweet set up you got! Don't blame you for wanting to take care of it.

Your cutting lines are not parallel to the fence. Get it together man!

I'm the trashy neighbor. Luckily, I keep my weeds manicured and mowed down regularly. I have no idea how you baws find enjoyment in fighting the weed battle.

I talked to my neighbor and he said he doesn't care if I treat his yard as well. His front yard is probably 1000 SF so it's not much. I usually spray his yard first and see how it does before spraying my own.

I walk the perimeter before every cut and hand weed. Takes about 5 extra minutes, maybe 10 if it rained recently. Sucks, but better than letting the weeds establish.

If my neighbors yard isn't kept to my liking, I usually ask if I can take care of whatever is bothering me. I have zoysia in my backyard and he's good with me spraying the property line with remedy and diesel to keep a bit of a barrier.

My neighbors somewhat try (by using weed and feed). I‘ve gotten tons of compliments on my lawn and I’d wish they’d ask me for advice. I’m just not the person to tell them they’re doing it wrong.

One did ask how to kill VBW, but don’t think they listened. So I’ll continue my pre-mow walk and pull the VBW that creeps under the fence before the seeds drop

I'd be happy with my neighbor... if they just cut from the corner of his back fence, to the corner of my fence. I can't understand how you cut 3ft into someone else's yard.

Are you looking here for validation or permission to spray your neighbor's yard under the fence? Your side looks like this is working well, so long as you're not creating discord with the neighbor.

Nice yard! Is that Virginia Button Weed in your neighbors yard that’s a foot high? VBW is the worst. I use my vinegar and salt mixture on it and it nukes VBW in hours and you can apply by holding the VBW in your hand when applying. I pull it too after dead. Seems to be controlling it much better this year than just pulling.

He has about 4-5' of grass between our property line and his driveway in the front that I do treat and cut with my own yard. He doesn't seem to care since he's never said anything.

I can’t say I would spray Roundup on neighbors property with none on mine. You could spray a nice small line of Roundup on your property right at the fence. Basically will just look like you weed eat regularly.

Maybe he likes not having to weed eat on his fence line even though he probably wouldn’t do it regardless.
