Yep, had too many neighbors and family borrow it over a five year period. It no longer ran but got my $60 worth out of it. Have a Bauer drill and impact driver that I use for jobs around the house and they've been worth the money. Floor jack and portable car jack also worth the money. If you are a professional none of this stuff is for you, but for the everyday Joe most of the stuff is fine. I also have a Predator 9KW generator that has lasted over 7 years (I drain the oil and gas from the tank and carb to store over every winter).

They have a little tire pump that cost like 25$ that is a dream for your car when the weather changes, bike tires, wheel barrels, pressure washer tires etc. No dragging anything heavy around. So long as it's something that's just low or the volume isn't crazy it's great

They just released a new dust collector on the Hercules line for $299 with 2x hepa filters. I bought it with a 25% coupon. It's nearly as good as Festool other than the hose is nowhere near as nice. But it comes with a floor sweeping attachment which I've been using a lot. That accessory is an additional $115 for Festool. Ive never bought any harbor freight stuff other than jack stands and a rolling cart and some shop stools, but for the $240 I paid, it is honestly a great value.

A couple of things that I think of off the top of my head that I can rave about is their Daytona rapid pump floor jack, and their gravity fed hopper spray texture gun.
One of these days I'd like to buy one of their Predator 9500 watt inverter generator's as a backup for our 5th wheel. There's a guy on YouTube that did a review on it and even had a sine wave device hooked up to it that tested it with and without loads on it while hooked up to his high end RV coach. The sine waves were perfect.

The Bad:
The West Monroe HF is full of non English speaker Hispanics, probably illegals.

I keep that one in my truck. I've had it for 7 or 8 years and it still works.

Good:
Hand tools
Predator engines
Bauer and Hercules power tools (I have Dewalt and Hitachi and the HF ones beat them both)
Bad:
Gloves (couple pair have fallen apart after a good use)
Battery Chargers (bought 3 and none of them work right)
batteries (AA and AAA)

Honestly for the money HF is awesome. I just got a backpack sprayer for $20, which is approaching throwaway after one use cheap. I got a pump there for like $30-40 that I beat the shite out of during a yard drainage project
The shite at Lowe’s and HD are cheap and shitty too, they just charge more. I actually feel like an idiot just realizing that Wal Mart sells most of the same basic shite as HD (including lawn tools, herbicides, etc) for a good 5-10% cheaper and even discount things from time to time. I’ve found myself getting irritated lately that Lowe’s and HD carry basically the exact same inventory - you can’t find what you need in one, then go to the other and it’s the same story.

i've had 95% good experiences with HF. i have some clamps (the kind that slide and lock and then screw to tighten) that have lasted me years. (i bought some of the pump kind too, those didnt last at all).
generally speaking, if it's a tool that i dont think i'll use more than a handful of times, i have no problems with the HF version. i do, however, steer clear of them for anything with life safety implications. i have the Daytona jack that has been mentioned here, and it's been really good, but not a chance in hell i'd ever trust it enough to crawl under my truck (but then again, i wouldnt do that with ANY jack, so it's really a moot point)
