I’ve always used the absolute trash green hoses. My current one is not long enough so I’m looking to get a 100fter. Anyone have any recommendations? If you also have a reel you prefer I’ll take those suggestions as well.

LINK These are the only ones that have survived the guys leaving them stretch out across the parking lot.

I bought my first of those 7-8 years ago and have added some since then. Best hoses I've used and the only ones I'll buy now. I will say they are pretty heavy compared to the cheaper brands but that doesn't bother me.

As far has hose reels, I don't like the plastic or self-coiling. They just don't last, but perhaps they have better versions these days.

I've used this one previously and liked it, even though it's manual it reels pretty smoothly. Hose Reel- Lowes

Eley makes top notch reels and also has polyurethane hoses (no kink variety). Some of the best money I've ever spent. Their products are expensive, but you get what you pay for. Great warranty.

Im ashamed of how much I paid for it but I got their nozzle kit, their quick disconnects, and some hose from them. It’s really great stuff.

I think I have a different type/brand hose on every outdoor spigot - 4. . By far, the Flexzilla hose Is the best of them. LINK. It can kink, but very seldom. Remains pliable in the dead of winter. Won’t keep that bright lime green color forever. Two other brands of non-kink hoses I have kink more often than the 1 non-kink hose I have. Now that I’m using hoses again with spring, I’m going to get a couple more Flexzilla’s - fed up with the other crap hoses.

I’m also done with plastic hose reels - break, constantly leak, fall over when in-winding hose off the reel, ..... Bought one of these a couple years ago, and I’m happy with it. LINK. Plan to buy another, and looking at other free standing metal hose reels options where I don’t want to wall mount. I know these are good, but $$$$.

ETA: Forgot to add the link for the $$$$ Eley hose reels LINK but I see others have noted their quality, and made in the USA as well. As the saying goes,”buy once, cry once”

I have a couple of spigots I want to keep a shorter hose at. I may try the colored version of the 50’ flexzilla. They don’t seem to have the discoloration problem like the green flexzilla and they’re $30 cheaper than the eley equivalent.

I have that one. Damn thing won’t seal at the spicket for shite. Tried on different slickers including a new spicket same thing. Changed the rubber seal a few times. It also kinks as much as a cheaper hose.

I just bought my second one of these. LINK First was for the front yard last year. Time came for a new one in the back and bought the 50' version. Love 'em both
I love the retractable feature but never seemed to find a decent one till this.

I’ve had the same Never Kink 100 footer going on 5 years now. It’s been on 2 separate reels that have crapped out. Let me know when there’s a decent one of those available.

I agree with this. I have two that are rubber and they are probably 7 or 8 years old and in great shape. They stay outside year round. Paid for them but they last.
