Im looking to buy an electric pressure washer. Mainly for washing my truck, misc stuff, and possibly washing down the siding. I dont have room for and dont feel like maintaining a gas one.

Is there a TD favorite?

If you have any battery powered tools you may consider going that route

Good for washing truck, but not gonna handle siding and cement.

I kind of figured that. so does it really matter which one I get if its just for washing the truck?

My Ryobi one is plenty for cleaning off siding, especially if I hit it with some Jomax first. Truck washing too. It's not quite powerful enough to do a good job on concrete, but I didn't plan for it to be.

The ryobi is good for any task aside from concrete in my experience.

I have the sun Jo. It’s good for cleaning trucks and ATVs like has been mentioned. I don’t think brand is a big deal on the small ones. They do make larger electric models too. I have a 4500 PSI gas for the big stuff. Game changer.

which model Ryobi?

The problem im having is that it seems like all of these manufacturers are bullshitting you with the pressure and flow specs. Its hard to make an apples to apples comparison. Most of them dont give you the flow at given pressures. They give you a max pressure at nearly deadhead conditions and then a max flow with a soap nozzle.

If I had to reduce myself to an electric pressure washer:

Mi-T-M 1400 psi

That's the one I got. Didn't pay full price for it though, wait for a sale if you can. I paid $270.

I’ve had a SunJoe for several years. No issues at all. Highly recommend.

Unless you’re getting 2800-3000 psi, you’re wasting your money.

I got a cheap one in Amazon. Think it's yhe WholeSun 3000 psi one. I doubt it's a true 3000 psi. I would not attempt to clean my entire driveway with a surface cleaner or anything, but its great for my back patio, front door area, cars, etc.. I borrow my dad's or rent a gas one when I do the driveway.
