Any late model owners? Looking at a 2024, what's you experience? Comparing to Toyota Highlander and Nissan Pathfinder. (Currently have 2016 Pathy no issues)

TIA

Can't see how you could compare this to a Highlander. If you can choose between the 2 it's an obvious decision.

Comparing Enclave to a Highlander, not much comparison. Reliably, owner satisfaction, dependable resale value, the Highlander gets high mark’s overall. Consumer Reports does a good job breaking down these. Best of luck.

Yeah was going to check CS, just looking for any real life feedback. Reliability is certainly a big concern for me with all "American" brands.

Thx gents

Having had to turn the wrench on the wife's older Enclave way more than I should have....take the Highlander.

In laws have a 2022 enclave. My wife has a telluride. Love the enclave compared to the telluride in every way. That’s all I got.

Haven’t personally driven one, but newer Buicks are getting tons of positive reviews, both online and from people I know. Apparently they have really upped their game.

I don’t know about the newer ones, but we had an older Enclave that was an absolute POS and made me never want to own another GM product ever. One year I spent over $8k in repairs. After the last $4k shop bill we traded it in for a Toyota Rav4. Couldn’t be happier with the decision.

If you are big on reliability, get the Toyota, I’ve put 550,000 miles total on 4 vehicles. Outside of normal maintenance, I’ve paid $525. To me it’s not an option. My niece bought a Buick years back, she didn’t listen the first time, but she did the second.

If you are buying in Baton Rouge area, my friends and relatives own 10 dealerships.

We're looking at similar sized cars. The Pathfinder is nice for the price. I am worried about the transmission. We have an Altima that has a crummy transmission that I expect to go out on me in the next 50k miles (it's over 100k now). They ride well until they don't. Royal Nissan has a lifetime powertrain warranty on their new cars last I checked, and that included the transmission, although I feel like there's a catch in there somewhere. It almost made me upgrade 20k miles ago.

Everyone I know that has purchased the newer Highlander loves it. I would say go one step up and look at the Grand Highlander and see if that extra bit of space is worth it to you.

I do not trust American at all, so I wouldn't give a good opinion on Buick. IMO they're just Chevs with leather and seat warmers.

Nissan Pathfinder no longer have the CVT transmission. Have one in my 2016, no issues yet with the CVT.

Retirement is great - don't hate baw ??

I had a Buick SUV rental over the summer in OR/WA. It had under 5K miles and the transmission started giving problems and dash warnings. Enterprise wanted to send a tow truck to the edge of nowhere near Mount St Helens. I opted to backtrack and swap it out at the Portland airport location. (the only thing opened on a Sunday)

Aside from the critical transmission failure ... it drove great and was well appointed.

My wife has an Acadia that has been fairly good overall. (fixed a major AC issue and the rear automatic hatch has issues)

I'm believe I am done with domestic going forward.

If they didn't change the motor mount design or go to a better alternator then it's just a matter of time. On the third one of each on the wife's car and it just hit 90k.

She won't be getting another Buick.
