The fascia on the corner of my house rotted away and a squirrel chewed a hole to get into my attic. Until I can get it fixed, what’s the best repellent?

Squirrel chewed my hammock. I called the manufacturer for replacement rope.

He suggested peppermint oil to repel.

22 air rifle with scope, also works on anything else like racoons or opossums you find scurrying around

+1

Also a squirrelinator trap has helped me keep the population under control. I obviously can’t stay outside with an air rifle at all times hunting them. As much as I wish I could. I bait the trap with dry corn and it does the trick.

I tried moth balls one time, with no luck. The problem was the hole it chewed was by my bedroom. Once I put the moth balls in the facia my room smelled like moth ball for a month

If you are in a neighborhood, go with a 22 pellet gun. I have the Gammo swarm 22 and it has a 10 round mag. One pump and fire but that pump takes some muscle.

Had a family of squirrels that tried to set up their home in my yard.

I shot most of them with .22 sub with a silencer.

No more squirrel problems.

I need rabbit help. They come right through the wrought iron fence and tear up my stuff.

If, like me, you see problems like this as an opportunity for purchasing new gear. Then, my friend, this is what you need.

What specific ones are y’all using?

I see some single shot, 10 shot, gen 3's where the fixed sights aren't as good (so some say) any longer, .177 vs .22, etc.

What's the best bang for the buck out there? Not looking for anything competition level. My backyard is about 50' deep from the back door.

For the last twenty years, I've had dogs at my current home. Labs, mutts, Goldendoodles. All of them went crazy and chased squirrels at every chance they got. I have just as many squirrels now as I did when we first moved in.
