Are there any expandable garden hoses that are decent quality?

I bought one from Lowe’s about a year ago and the function of it was great, it worked as advertised which I loved, but it only lasted about six months due to cheap parts. Are there any that are well-made?

I couldn't find any. Did switch to flexzilla which are super lightweight and easy to deal with.

Not really the expandable you are looking for but the best hose(s) I've owned is the Zero-G from Lowes. Lasts forever and winds up small.

Yeah I have some good traditional hoses but I need one that can shrink up in one particular area of my garden. It’s hard to get to the spigot so rolling up a big hose has been a pain. It was awesome when my expandable was working.
Just looked at the Zero G a little closer. That may work. I’ll check them out. Thanks!

Hey one from Sam’s or Costco and return that shite when it fails. Screw Lowe’s and HD they sell cheap shite for way too much money.

I don't know of any but don't leave it outside and should last quite a bit longer.

I've had this one for years, it's outlasted 2 hose reels already. And I leave it outside.

Being outside can be different than being exposed to direct sunlight most of the day. The UV rays are the killer.

Part of being expandable is walls that are thin. I've had to replace my convenient patio hose every 2nd year due to many pinhole leaks. Keeping it out of sun might have bought me another year.

Yeah I get it but that misses the whole point of what I’m trying to achieve.

Not expandable, but the Bionic Steel hoses have worked great for me.

My Zero G blew up after about 3 months. The entire head came off of the hose

I started a similar thread not that long ago and someone recommended Hydro Tech. So far, it has lasted longer than any of the previous ones.

The Lowes garden center where I live has used the same Zero-G for 4 years! It's used every day by many different workers.
