Yes . It was in my former residence.

Above old Indian burial grounds.

Check the wall switch. Sometimes they get in a wierd spot and hang up. Mine will do it from time to time

I have heard of people having their garage doors go up due to aircraft signal interference

Once in a blue moon you read about someone going about doing breaking and enterings by opening garages. I’m surprised it doesn’t happen more often, it can’t be that difficult to find the frequency of someone’s garage with the proper price of equipment.

But yeah, it could also just be a loose wire OP. Those switches are just very basic switches.

Yup, wall switch had moisture in it and corroded a bit, $20 for a new one on Amazon , 2 screws , 2 wires , 5 minutes to replace

Besides possible shorts already discussed here, perhaps you have someone in the neighborhood with the same pin settings on the remote opener and is opening your door with their remote. Change your pin settings

Program any new remotes lately? I had this happen once. I was programming the built in opener on my new truck and didn't realize a neighbor was getting home at the same time. My door would open when he hit the button to close his when he was leaving for work in the morning. Had to reset and reprogram my remotes.

there are only about a hundred numerical combinations for the system to use

drive around any subdivision anywhere hitting your garage remote, and there will be 2 or 3 that open for you

look into resetting the remote code to something you pick, some better security systems will allow that

This happened to mine. Was basically manually stuck in between clicks. Once I figured it out I just pull it a little every time I push it.
