Anyone ever buy plants online?

I'm looking for a specific dwarf Japanese Maple and can't find one locally. I wasn't sure if online ordering of plants actually works or what.

It's hard to by plants sight unseen IMO.
We've purchased from Wayside Gardens and had brown balls of dead weeds show up at the door.

Yes, try Mr. Maples out of NC near Asheville. LINK. I’ve ordered a dozen or more from them the past few years. They arrive well boxed in perfect shape. Daughter and SIL met the 2 brothers that run it and have given them a personal tour of the operation.

Have done fast growing trees several times. Have never had issues with the orders.

Bought 4 trees from fastgrowingtrees.com. All came to me looking pretty good. No problems with them so far. 2 lemons, 1 lime, and 1 orange.

I’ve ordered from Stark Bros, Fast Growing Trees, and Wilson Bros.
No issues with any of them but I’d have to table them:
Wilson Bros, Fast a growing Trees, then Stark Bros. I got a vitex tree from Wilson and it doubled in less than a year in shitty fill dirt.

Fastgrowingtrees has been solid for me as well. Got an LSU Purple Fig and a Dragon Fruit Cactus looking healthy
