My grass has been really growing starting about 3 weeks ago to the point I have to mow Thursdays and Mondays.

I've got a new riding mower, and I'm not about to cut it twice a week.

My yard man is still only cutting once every two weeks, he needs to get with it.

Oh for sure.
I’m cutting about every 5 days.
But I cut it a little higher to have that plush look.

No, I cut mine about every 5 days in the summer months to keep it manageable----so, 6 times a month. If I let it go for 7 days, it is a good bit more to deal with. Twice a week sounds a bit excessive

Maybe it's the type of grass I have(emerald zoysia) but I've never had to cut it twice a week. Once every 10 or so days.

I cut mine on Saturday evening and this morning was the first time I noticed that it was looking a little long. So that's 4.5 days; but it's not bad enough yet that it can't wait until Saturday again.

Yep. I cut a week ago Wednesday, and by Monday it looked like the house was abandoned. I refused to do yardwork on Memorial Day, so I cut it Tuesday evening. I can already tell that I'll have to cut it on Saturday. Kinda hoping with the lack of rain lately, it'll slow down.
I don't mind cutting grass nearly as much as I mind my yard looking like shite. So I'll gladly do it. Plus it gets me out of the house for a bit.

I am not but probably need to.

yep, about every five days the last few weeks. Which is frightening because we've had almost zero rain over that period.

Nope, not enough rain lately.

Twice a week? shite, I'm glad if my neighbor cuts his grass once a month.
I cut mine every single week but haven't gotten to twice a week yet.

Mowed Sunday, mowing again today, and watering. We're in a heat wave drought here in ATL. Bermuda with plenty of fertilizer on it and regularly watered. It is looking great. It has taken me two whole seasons to get it looking good again, previous owner neglected it. I think by end of Summer I might be a candidate for Lawn of the Month.

I can't afford to pay the guy twice a week.

My fescue/bluegrass gets cut about every 3 days. Sometimes I go 4 days between.
