8 foot fence price

Has anyone gotten recent quotes for an 8 foot privacy fence in the BR area? Trying to see what the going rate is per LF. Have about 500 feet to do with no gates.

Make sure you use 12 ft posts, and 4 runners.

That is about what I have been hearing as well. I am in LAF, and need to do about 70 feet. Going to try DIY, my BIL has the tools we need just need to find a supplier besides big box store. I dont know if Doug Ashy is any better but open to suggestions on where to get the supplies.

Doug Ashy is typically great. As far as big box I would go to stines before HD/Lowes.

I’ve been quoted about $5,700 for 118’ of aluminum fencing which I thought was ridiculous.
Does that sound about normal?

I don't really have any experience with that or what kind of aluminum fence it is but that 5700 for 118' of fence bought and installed doesn't sound crazy to me considering a basic 6' wood fence would be about 2500

6×8 panels of heavy weather wood is like 75 bucks at Lowes.

in east Texas it's been $25 per foot and about $250 for a gate

I got a quote and it was $5k something for 60 linear feet of wood across my backyard, installed. $30 per foot. Don’t know if your supplies is cheaper than wood.
