Not seeing any post emergent effects on the clovers or other weeds in the yard. How long should the post emergent take?

Was the post-emergent Atrazine? If so, usually about 3 weeks if you followed label directions and after it was watered in. Systemic herbicides like atrazine, Celsius, MSM Turf, etc work slowly as they translocate throughout the weed foliage and root system.

I’m about to start cutting my centipede with a manual reel. Looking forward to seeing how it goes.

I bought one late in the season last year. I didn’t see any benefits and some funny looks from my neighbors.

Going to continue using this year twice a week or immediately after a gas mow. The worst thing so far is I’ve found every root in the yard.

If this helps the yard look better I may get a gas reel. I’ve seen some on lawn forums can even get stripes using a gas reel.

Make sure you use a surfactant and don’t miss any areas. The entire area of dollarweed in your lawn is interconnected. Next time you go to the beach find some dollarweed and pull it up. It’s like a spiderweb

Yes atrazine for the post and prodiamine for the pre.

I go with a 2 day before or after rule but I’m not sure how important that is for MSM.

This winter/spring, my enemy has switched to Carolina Geranium from Henbit. Image Southern Lawn is doing a number on it.

Not sure what the weather is like in LA, but safe to use until temps are in the mid 80s.

If borderline, can apply in the evening when it's cooler to be on the safe side.

A little help. Here. I cannot decide if I have Bermuda or Zoysia. What do you think?

Don't think either are specifically labeled for use around box woods, but I've used both around my boxwoods without any issue when I have a little extra after finishing the lawn. In general though, I tend to use big box store sprays when I'm doing my landscape bed spraying because it's more convenient.

Thank you. Sorry I’m sort of new to this. What do you mean by “big box store sprays”

Round up ?

Basically the sprays you can get at home depot, Lowe's, etc(big box stores). Round up, weed b gon and their varieties.

My boxwoods are in my landscape beds, so I typically use something like round up or Ortho ground clear because they kill the weeds but also kill my grass that's growing into the landscape beds. Again that's mostly for convenience for me. You can buy concentrates of selective herbicides mean for use around ornamentals(fusalide, ornamec) that you can mix and spray as well depending on what you're trying to kill.

Laid some 33-0-0 in the front yard today. Going to hit the back tomorrow to catch the Monday rain since the back yard isn’t irrigated. Ready to cut come grass

I have Bermuda, but I wish I had Zoysia. Can I overseed the Bermuda with Zoysia? I am in the far NW corner of Arkansas. If I can I was thinking of putting out some seeds right after my yard is leveled with masonry sand.

You aren’t worried about damaging the boxwoods with the round up? Are you just really careful and do it when it’s not windy out?
