Just got back from 3 weeks on the road and put up the feeders. 4 hours later I had two males fighting for them. Florida Panhandle.

Best advice on feeders is get one that has a railing they can perch on while eating. Seems like they stay longer at the feeder when they aren’t having to hover.

Had our first one show up Monday in St. George.

Still no sightings at my house in South Lafourche below the Intracoastal.
Friends have seen a few. We usually have a dozen or so, more during the migration back north.
We lost 11 big trees during Ida. I’m thinking they didn’t recognize the place.

Feeders been out for 2 weeks north of BR. I've seen at least 3 different hummingbirds, but don't know how to tell male or female.
