WTF? Someone edited one of my posts and it was not me!

Admins, what is going on? I posted the following topic on 4/3 and someone (not me or anyone related to me) edited the post today (4/10)!

Well, I don't mind the the subject/update of this particular edit but I have a big problem with the ability of someone to edit my posts without my permission. The edit appears to the other posters as if it comes from me. What's to prevent an admin from posting something I object to and don't want to be associated with? I don't like someone having that discretion.
At the very least the comment after an edit that says "this post was edited" should read "this post was edited by an administrator."
I still don't like the fact that someone can go into my account and edit what I post.

they sometimes say it's an admin edit. they wont add anything that isn't substantive or not relevant to the post, i assure you

This is a privately owned site and the admins don't need your permission nor do they want it to edit your posts.
