Many corners of TD have regrettably become a playground for quacks. The Arts Board was once the best board on the site. Now it is filled with conspiracy theorists and radical libertarian ideologues and iconoclasts who have neither love of nor respect for the arts. The last spot of TD that had not been infected with the plague is the Travel Board.

Chicken just read it as a new thread. Feel free to share with him the usual suspects that don’t actually discuss shows only politics and social issues.
I like when Neil deGrasse Tyson got brought up about scientific authenticity of The Martian or Interstellar and the politalk swarm came in to tell everyone he isn’t a scientist because trans, dicks and balls, etc. Absolutely zero to do with the topic.
I do think the board should have a full time mod that posts on the board and would be fair and reasonable. That’s why you and iwy get a lot of support.

Yeah, there was one yesterday in the Superman trailer thread, something about will this be another woke version of Superman? Is he gonna be gay or trans or what? Its so annoying and does nothing but make the board a worse place. Not to mention its not even based in reality, there hasn't been a "woke" Superman

Deleting the derail replies is an option, but the less lazy offenders know to insert their cries for attention in a broader post. Making it look like they're actually participating, but their intention is to start an argument about social issues and not film or television.

"Kaiju" is a poster that we call "SEK" - he's about to hit worst poster on MTV board voting. iamfatandstupid is likely runner-up.
The PT/Disney board would be great for those guys. Leave MTV board out of it. We just watch shite and comment.
We did get a Disney ride thread today. Disney rides isn't TD MTV stuff imo.
