Rant separate LSU football, baseball and basketball boards

Why shouldn't the Rant have different boards for each? New Orleans has separate boards for the Saints and the Hornets. What's the difference between this and LSU have separate boards for the major three sports. This way, there would be a lot less Germans as this comment likely is.

This actually sounds like a good idea. Don't really know if this is the right board, or if the help board is more suited to this

nah. they are 3 pretty distinct seasons. basketball and baseball would be dead for a lot of the year

A better idea would be to separate all three sports from the Rant; that way, we could have the Rant for the Ranters, and the Football, Basketball and Baseball boards for people who actually want to discuss LSU football, basketball and baseball.

First off, it's football season 365 days a year. Then during the actual season, a baseball or basketball post is quickly blown past the first page. How many people really look past the first page for topics?
Lastly, you ULM and Army fans can suck @arse. Your vote doesn't count. Not that you aren't welcome on an LSU forum, but don't fuss about how to get better LSU content noticed.

Exactly my point. Football threads always get the attention they deserve here no matter what time of year, and baseball/basketball threads are a big deal during their season. No reason to give them their own board when 8 months of the year they are going to be nearly dead.

If anyone makes a baseball/basketball comment during football season, it's virtually lost to anyone who is interested in seeing any baseball/basketball news that a member is contributing. Really, is a Music board more important than LSU baseball or basketball?

The saints and hornets are completely seperate. They just so happen to be from the same city. And they are professional teams with much longer seasons.
It's rare that the saints don't have something of interest going on. The season, free agency, draft, preseason work outs, preseason cover almost the entire year.
Hornets are the same, just with less following.
LSU is one school. And not professional. Should we have a seperate recruiting board for lsu basketball and baseball too?
