As someone who came from the SEC Rant, but enjoys posting on the MSB because the SEC Rant doesn't have a separate sports board, I will say that I would love a golf board because there are so many opinions out there and so many different things to discuss. I liked talking about the tournament last week, but things like the PGA did get a little obnoxious when Baw and Nitro were every other word. If that is cut out, I think there would be a lot of value to a golf thread.

You guys don't get it. Not everyone wants to read that crap or comment when they can't understand your lingo.
When someone wants to discuss golf and you guys ruin the thread with BS it kills the discussion.

Fred, you want to be a good admin, and we want you to be a good admin. Help us help you. Baw and Nitro are gone for all intents and purposes. Lingo will be reduced and/or eliminated. Outsiders welcomed.

Remind your boss that people would pop in every week and say how much they loved the thread, and how entertaining it was, how informative it was, how much 'lukers' enjoyed it, and how it brought people together to laugh, joke, and have a good time.

Because there has never been lingo used on this site or the Internet.

If you shut down threads based on lingo and being ruined, the OT and half this board wouldn't exist.

Baw is used more now on the OT than in the golf threads.
