When my 4% FK give out, I'm going with the pink Next %, unless they come out with some different color before then. I really prefer the white lower of the pink Zoom Fly over the beige, but the Next % feel so much better.

After reading so much about the Bostons on here I decided to order some off JackRabbit. Y'all should get a commission or something from Adidas, lol. Decided to pay $13 more for the black with orange streak, thereby avoiding the pink.

The Next was interesting. First off, it is a very fragile shoe. The sole is 2 pieces awkwardly glued to each other but my main issue is late in the race it was fully compressed and they felt like they were working against me. No rebound. Very similar feel to Lunarlon those last 5 miles of the marathon.
I want he shoe the pros are running in, because an off the shelf Next% can’t be it. I would race the Run Fast if I wasn’t concerned about bottoming out in them around mile 8.

Interesting take. I didn't feel that way in the 4% FK during my marathon, granted I'm not running at near the pace you were.
I agree the shoe is fragile. After maybe 100 miles total, the tread has worn off in some spots and the foam is now exposed. I did some reading and that is normal, but it's annoying none the less for a $250 pair of shoes.

My Next% review: It’s a 150 dollar racing flat with the stack height of a maximalist shoe and the durability of a Walmart Velcro walking shoe for the low, low price of 250 dollars plus tax. I feel like I’ve been tricked.
By the way I forgot to tell y’all, the foam layers were starting to separate on one of the heels before I even raced them or ran in them at all.

Sounds like a perfect time to test out the Nike "Free returns, dirt and all" policy.

I know the Adidas Boston's are popular--> black & white are $72 today from adidas.com .

Saw you can use the 25% Nike Cyber Monday code on the ZF3 and Flyknit 4%. I might buy another pair of 4% at that price.

If your considering buying they are $59 on jackrabbit with 3 color choices.
I know some of y’all run in Reebok’s. They are 50% off with promotion code cyber. I decided to try a pair at that price.

I ordered the float ride run fast.

Great shoe. Bouncy but low. If you’re a forefoot striker you might be at risk to bottom out over long distances.
Great racing shoe for going really fast without the stupid carbon plate.

I worked for a large sporting goods retailer. Nike built in a return percentage when we ordered from them. There were no returns to the manufacturer. All Nikes we returned went to some company in Texas that ground them up to make race tracks.

Ran 5 yesterday in my new Bostons. Great shoe. I was sore from a recent race but ended up flying and barely feeling it. Right foot was a bit tight underfoot while simultaneously feeling loose at the ankle, but relacing it mid run fixed that. Looking forward to a longer run.

I’ve been enjoying my new Brooks, but my Boost Solar Drives are my favorite shoes in rotation right now. Haven’t had a run where I didn’t really enjoy them yet.

I went for an easy 6 today in the Run Fast today. Felt great from the moment I put them on. Had to fight the urge to pick up the pace in them.

Well, Altra has ruined their shoes with the latest releases. I guess I'll be trying out several different brands soon after sticking with Altra for the past 4 years. I have a few months left on my current pair which are older versions I managed to find a few months ago. I have put over 800 miles on these on the past, but the reviews on the newer versions suggest that the durability has taken a huge hit.

On the flip side, Saucony’s Endorphin line looks incredible.
