200 is what I’m saying I started at but it was more in the 200 to 205 range. I just posted a before and after picture for friends and family and my huge gut is completely gone.

So started at 200, at 169 this morning, goal weight is 165. Once I hit 165 I’ll decide if I want to continue dropping or start maintenance and hit the gym to start getting definition. If I decide to continue dropping the absolute lowest I want to go is 160.

Congrats on starting to realize your weight loss goals. Start formulating a plan now on how you intend to do maintenance. As I’ve said on here a number of times I’ve been in maintenance for approx 6 months. It’s tough to not lose weight if you want to remain Keto. I choose to remain Keto because of the absolutely amazing way I feel.

for any of you that want keto fast food, look no further than Popeye's blackened tenders

3pc - 160cal, 2g carbs, 26g protein
5pc - 283 cal, 3g carbs, 43g protein

I get 2 3pc orders for $8. They are absolutely delicious and blow away CFA's shitty grilled offerings. They are spicy and very flavorful

Only drawback is you have to wait 3-4min for them

And you have to find a way to balance out that much protein.

Agreed. The beautiful thing is my company provides dietician services for free so I plan on working with them to give me a meal plan I can stick with to maintain.

Not to hate on dieticians but the majority have zero idea wtf they are talking about. If you’re going to go off Keto I would use something like Avatar nutrition...

Dieticians are reasonably reliable, nutritionists are the ones to look out for. Any idiot with an idea can call themselves a nutritionist.

Solid. I did drink a couple of beers Saturday, but I kept carbs under 20. It took effort, but I got it done. Thank you Mich Ultra

Today marks the beginning of Week 4: I am down on the scale 14 lbs, 265-251 but I am in that transition zone form fat to muscle. I am way stronger than 3 weeks ago. My jeans, 40 waist, were fitting me just right on new years. Yesterday, I could fit them at my belly button. My fat is all in my torso especially my belly. My shirts hang down to my junk instead of at or just below my belt.

I feel great, the eating and meal prep is getting easier. My wife looks and feels fantastic!!

The only thing I did wrong last week was have a cocktail or 3 every night, because we had company for dinner every night. This week, we are going in to lock down mode.

Good job! With regards to alcohol, it’s totally fine as long as you keep it within your macros, but remember it halts all fat burning until it metabolizes all the alcohol.

Yeah, the macros were fine.

I know. that's why we are going dry this week. Last time I dropped weight, once I got to the muscle building stall on the scale, the fat came right off. I'm excited. I'm ready to be thin again.

As of this morning, I'm down 10.6lb since the New Year (tracking macros and adjusting since 1/8). Not to make this all about weight loss, I also feel very good!

I've cheated a bit on weekends (more due to convenience than cravings, and more so at the beginning of the month). I doubt I've even been in ketosis much if at all and attribute the loss mostly due to caloric defecit.

My macros have been good all week. This 10lb milestone has me feeling super motivated to continue through the weekend and not sacrifice my progress for temporary gratification.

Hope everyone has a good weekend!

Stayed within macros all week except for the pizza night. Ketones dropped from 4ish to 1.9, but started climbing again the day after. Have to keep an eye extra hard bc my watch is feeding my workouts into MFP and showing I have more calories, etc bc of what i burn during the workouts.

Scale has been kinda stagnant at the 18-20lbs mark, but i attribute it to muscle building as I'm back lifting in the gym.

Keep it going. You will go through periods is stagnating then dropping pounds. You may want to try to throw a couple of 48 or 72 hour fasts in every month to jumpstart weight loss.

I’m actually starting another 72 hour fast today because I completely bad carb loaded yesterday and broke my diet. Gonna restart Keto because I am soo close to my goal weight.

Congrats to everyone on their progress!

I need advice. I go to the gym very early in the morning. I don’t have a lot of time, so I usually just down a bulletproof coffee and I’m on my way. Is this okay? Should I try to eat something before? Does it matter if it’s a cardio day vs weights vs yoga? I want to maximize the effect of my workout and am getting mixed reviews on eating before or after my workout and what to eat. TIA

Fasted workouts are great for weight loss. It wouldn’t hurt if you save the coffee for after the gym.

Just keep it up and make sure you are tracking your macros. The weight loss is not 100% linear.
