I don’t get why physicians are so hesitant about it, seems like it’d be easy money for GPs that could probably use it these days

Because all they’ve been taught is how bad testosterone is

Same doctors that say eat less salt and protein and more veggies and carbs.

Mine was 340
Started Enclomiphene
It's 950
I had almost identical results with enclo but was having a lot of soft tissue issues, back, hips hurting, so I switched to TRT, been about three weeks, but my joints already feel better.

I'm 53. My Testosterone came in at 687; Free Testosterone came in at 10.19; SHBG came in at 60. I think my SHBG came in slightly high. May have something to do with the DIM I was taking. I since stopped taking DIM.

its worse for women honestly because there is a complete lack of knowledge in the field. for men its because they are scared and taught Testosterone is just a steroid and bad and will cause cancer...it does the opposite.... for women, its mainly just a complete lack of education on the subject. A good womens HRT specialist saves more marriages than marriage counseling could ever dream of. especially when the wife is early to mid 40s

your free is low because the shgb is high. start taking boron, 12mg every morning, retest in 12 weeks.

Every time I go for my yearly my doctor tells me I'm going to have a stroke because my test is at 900. He claims that nobody needs to be on TRT. Switching docs this year because I'm tired of this guy's falsetto voice lecturing me on test.
eta: I can still hear him lisping "A total testosterone level of 290 is in the normal range"

They're not alone in this thinking, bring up TRT in the OT.

And this is why people have lost all faith in the medical system and are treating themselves under the radar.

To be fair, this is one area of medicine where doctors at large are genuinely failing men.
Men are failing themselves. You shouldn’t have low t in your 30s, 40s, and even 50s. 60+ lower t is just part of aging.

I agree with you here in my case. I was a dumbass and cycled gear for 4 years in my early 20s so yeah, I failed myself. That doesn't mean I don't want my symptoms to be treated if possible.

7’s, who are you going to in LC? I did had my test checked recently and went from about 800 down to 350 in the last 4 years. I’m to the drawing board trying to figure out what the hell happened to make it drop so fast.

How do you end up with these kinds of shitbirds after this long? My screening questions are basically, "does this dude look like he plays sports." I'm going to have to find a new PCP in 30 days.
