Yeah. That time is a struggle to make. I hit today’s workout Rx but paced the burpees way too slow and finished at 6:15 Rx.
I can push heavy weight OH all day.
I’m headed over to RSCF to bring my son over to Bruce Barbell. I’ll probably do some Clean Work since I struggle on the Pull.

I made it to Oly. It was an easier one.
1) Every 1:30x5
-hang snatch
-OH squat
-hang squat snatch
2)Every 1:30
Pause snatch
-2x2 75%
-2x2 80%
-2x2 85%
It was good to get more OH squat work in.
Burpees are my #1 achilles heel. Being so overweight, anything that involves body weight gasses me pretty good but fricking burpees.. I die. If I never did another burpee or crab walk in my life id be okay with it
too make things worse, the coaches are not letting me scale them as much. I'm glad they're pushing me but fuuuuuck

I need to ask the coaches why GCF doesn't use BTWB. I've started using it to track and it is the tits. If the gym used it, it'd be even better

I have asked.
Other gyms use Wodify or another online based tracker, but currently those softwares don’t include member payment features so it’s a non-starter.
Once they include it, Amber and Johnny would consider it.
Burpees jack up the HR and make every workout suck when they are included.

I’ll have to talk to Amber again. They use Zen Planner but you have to enter in your stuff on your own and it isn’t connected to the other gym members.

Today had burpees over bar and a ton of overhead squat. It's already been a bigtime leg week. I'll either not go, or run by open gym and do something else.

Zen Planner is a pretty awful app, imo. I don't know much about Wodify.

Our gym started using Zen, but they aren't necessarily pushing it other than to sign up for specialty classes (barbell). We previously used a combination of Beyond the White Board and MindBody (for dues and sign in's)

It is those damn burpees right before the cleans that I'm worried about. I can cycle through cleans pretty quick. I just need to get through those burpees.

It'd be nice if I'm in good enough shape next year to consider testing myself at the open so I have a frame of reference in the future.

Do the scaled version on the Friday nights.
GCF will have 50+ at the gym from 6pm-10pm on Fripday doing the weekly open workouts running in 5-6 heats.
