Now it’s been sore where the jaw meets the ear and the back side of the lobe since Saturday. Really bothering me. Any remedies

I’m good for 7 hours a night. Not bad in the morning but worse at night. I can chew on that side and it’s not the teeth but right at the ear that are sore

Happens to me all the time. It'll go away but it always freaks me out.
Gotta wonder if you clinch during your sleep. I'm pretty sure that attributes to the jaw popping. Time to hit up a dentist and see how bad it is.

Just your jaw joint(tmj).
Nsaids, heating pads/warm compresses, soft diet for a bit. As long as you can open and close your mouth fully(i.e. not locked).

TMJ. I had issues with it when I was in my late teens and early twenties, but it was never bad enough to seek medical care. It eventually went away on it’s own for me.

Yeah I'm in my 20s and I get it sometimes too. If I open my mouth too wide sometimes it'll pop right where my jaw meets my ear. It pops back in place after a few seconds.

TMJ is a structural issue, it happens when your jaw doesn’t develop correctly. It’s too small.
My doctor ended up putting me in a palate expander, which widened my jaw.
It resolved the issue.
