My only hold up is cost. This shite is expensive as all hell,
As this becomes a more normalized health issue, the cost will likely come down and stabilize. People are definitely more aware of it now, es evidenced by the threads popping up on here.

My TRT is covered by insurance and my co-pay for weekly visits is $25.

Depends on your insurance. Blue Cross Blue Shield covers mine… gel. Runs me about $25 month. Do your research, you might find discounts through some of the newer prescription clubs.
You have to monitor PSA levels with regular blood tests. Also some people react differently. One of the side effects for me was a “thickening” of the blood. That’s my description anyway. Best way to alleviate this dude effect is to do at blood about every 6-8 weeks.
Shots are easy but if you travel that is a problem. I went Gel because it is convenient and I choose when to use it. There are energy “spikes” when you use it. Obviously don’t want to apply it late in day. Generally am is recommended if you work daytime.

got a study to show how the prolonged spike and how its able to restore levels to optimal?
let me give you a hint, there isnt one, the spike is very short lived and has no noticable effects on total test levels, free test levels and overall optimizing of hormones.
but by all means, read an article that tells you that.
and ftr i am a practicineer of the LG style of IF and prefer IF, but dont come on here acting like its magic and will fix low test levels, becuase i will call you out.
and stop being such a weird frickign dude too, need to work on that.

this is one of the more common side effects. it causes your body to produce more red blood cells. so hence the thickening. as he stated, donating is an easy way to keep that under check. ive been on trt for about a year now and haven't had a significant increase in RBC to the point where i need to donate blood.

200mg/ml, 10ml vial is only $40 with GoodRX. That’s what I do. I just tell them I’m paying cash price with GoodRX. Show the lady at the checkout the code and bam.

Needles are cheap on Amazon or just get them at Walgreens when you pick up the test.
My boss/office manager gets a box of 100 for like $11 from McKesson. She said she could order the test too so I may go the convenient route.
