Very true, and I suppose a bit of oversight on my part. When my total is 262, LDL 189, chol/HDL ratio > 5, and my doc is looking at me like "....well, we've been here before", I kinda wimped out lol. I haven't really studied cholesterol very much so I don't feel confident in arguing, either.

Having come off of keto, my hunger is okay now. I think the immense hunger I was feeling was rebound hunger from coming off of ozempic. Seems to be a common side effect of you don't slowly come down off of it, which I didn't because I suddenly couldn't get any.

bro, you need to get with JOSE as a doctor. he post in a lot of the threads and he will help you out with the ozempic and will help you get it. he is having a kid today or tomorrow so wait a while, but hit him up in the ppsa thread or the thread on ozempic

I'm sure I could get it if I was willing to pay out of pocket for it, but I'm not trying to shell out $1000/mo. My insurance covers it for me for a $20 copay but hard to get that way.

Making progress slowly. Still prioritizing protein and staying around 2200-2400 calories. The weekend is hard since I'm usually not home to eat one of the meals I prepped and/or can weigh to get accurate numbers. Trying to be honest with myself in logging those numbers. They go up FAST when not eating prepped meals.

Same. Getting stronger in the gym, so not worried about it.

Strength has improved and waist size is down considerably. I think I will keep going with the diet plan through most of the summer in hopes to potentially see some abs popping through and then I am going to do a bulk diet plan in order to blast all of my lifts to new levels.

Have healthy snacks available, I keep almonds, pickles, cold cuts, Atkins snack bars and pork rinds in my house for those late night cravings.

You know it dawned on me this morning that I could've made a big batch of protein ice cream, ate half the calories and probably tripled the protein or more.

Hit my 3 workouts plus found new 5rm for squats and bench this week. Next week I'll get 5rm of DL and ohp, then my 'off' days I'll do some extra strength with 85% of 1rm at 3-5 reps for 3-4 sets. When I can consistently hit 5 reps, up the weight. Then a little accessory work, get a pump.

Weekly average weight is slowly dropping. 180 by year end is doable, but I might have to take this more seriously.
