Ok, I’m back from the hunting camp. Time to start Lent. I’ve put on 5-7 lbs since Thanksgiving.
Keto diet, IF, and crank exercise back up. Time to get under 200.

Started intermittent fasting on Tuesday and I’m down 8 lbs. This is definitely not a long term solution but I want to drop as much weight as possible before spring break.

my goal is to get to 230lbs

I can finally say that I hit my goal! Started in August at 262 and I weighed 230 yesterday but didn't want to post until I hit it 2 days in a row, and I actually hit 229 this morning!

I have not seen anything below 230 in probably 12+ years. It's nice to put on a jacket or shirt I hadn't worn since last winter and they are actually loose now

New Goal
262 / 229 / 220

Keep it up Doug
I jumped on the scale Tuesday and I’ve gained 5lbs. Some of its bloat, but that’s the new starting place.

I haven't posted in here since early Dec. I've been sitting in the same ~5# window since early Nov. I finally got under that window yesterday and confirmed it this morning when I weighed even less. It's been tough, but I've now been trending downward since weight peaked on 2/6; 7# in 7 weeks. I've been focusing on protein intake, minimum 10k steps/day, 4-6 days lifting/wk, and absolutely no alcohol or added sugar. My sugar intake comes from fresh fruit. Having no sugar (or 0 cal sweeteners) takes a good bit of self-control.

My physician did write a script of Ozempic if I want it, but I haven't fully decided on it one way or the other. It's very appealing knowing that it should help cut down the grazing/snacking urges. Working from home, access to food is just too easy.

227/205/185

5'11" and tired of having sideboobs. Started lifting casually on August 1 2023 with the intention of being 185 by September 27, 2024 (30th bday). Started taking it more seriously after Christmas.

Most of my weight loss has come from cutting booze WAY down,to almost nothing, and cutting out fast food almost completely. I cook 95% of my meals and eat however much I want, and it's working ok so far, if a little slower than I would like. Not tracking macros too much, just focusing on eating as much protein as possible.

I’m in this

255/241/195

Started at the beginning of January focused on losing it slowly, one pound per week. Ive lost 60 pounds multiple times in my life with several different diets. I’m trying to change my relationship with food this go around. Trying to be in better shape for backpack hunts, for longevity, for my kids, and I want to complete the Maximus 7 fitness standards.

I’m lifting 4 days per week, running 20
Ish miles per week.

Eating 2300 calories
207 protein/ 178 carb/ 84 fat
Weighing everything, eating the same prepped meals 6 days per week. One day per week, i don’t eat prepped meals. I generally miss my macros by 10% or on that day but stay under calories. That’s my “cheat” day.

Went really hard this morning (3mile roundtrip walk, 75min lifting, 30min IR sauna, 90min yard work) so I'm sure most of the drop from yesterday is water weight and I'll have some bounce back tomorrow. It's still nice to see the numbers getting lower though.

What do you eat to achieve sub 1500 yet still hitting 180g of protein?
