No problem, scaseyfitness is probably my favorite. He posts great recipes and he's irish so he does it in a funny way. He also doesn't repost a lot of the recipes shown on other pages. He just ate nothing but wraps for 30 days to show that carbs aren't bad, it's what goes into the wraps that matter.

On day 9 of 75 hard challenge. Just wanted to try something with little to no gray areas in the way of diet. Starting weigh in was 211. Garmin s2 scale came in today and down to 201.7 after workout and run. I’m 6’0 . Bf% is 24.4 which I’m pretty sure is terrible but I’m hoping will come down. Currently lifting 3-5 days a week and running every day. (3-7 miles). I’ve cut out red meat. All drinks but water and almond milk. Pretty much just eating fruit , nuts , small amts of peanut butter for sweet tooth, sweet potatoes , avocado, fish, chicken. I haven’t really started counting calories but I’m really watching portions much better than before. Feeling really good so far. I’d let my diet go go complete shite for a solid year or more and although I’ve always ran quite a bit I’m well aware now that you can’t outwork a bad diet.

How much protein?
I'll have to check my spreadsheet at home but I normally get about 150g-180g protein daily in the 1670 cal range. My projection for today is looking like about 120g of protein on 1450 calories.
Target weight is 185

Try and get the protein up some, when talking 20-25% from TEF, it adds up over time

Since start of psmf, day 3-197
So 202/197/180

Why?
The diet I chose for the 75 day hard plan didn’t include it. Plus I have a tougher time with portion control as opposed to chicken or fish. I freakin love red meat and have a hard time eating a little tiny piece of it with a meal. . I’ll incorporate it back in when I get to the end of this program.

I wound up ending the day at 150g with 1450 calories
Changed up what I had planned on eating to finish out the day
I'm going to try to keep it in the 150-180 range and higher on days with a higher calorie allowance

So did an inbody test today that had me at 15% BF vs my Garmin Scale which had me at 24%. I guess I’m gonna trust the inbody.

depending on which inbody machine is used and how you perform the test, inbody can be as accurate as dexa. but it can also be as inaccurate as a bathroom scale depending on those factors.

Appreciate the reply. Not sure what kind of inbody it was. Wife coaches CrossFit part time and it was the one they use up there.
So I’m ready to really dial in on diet and keep a fairly accurate count of my daily calories and what not. Which app do you guys use to do this with ? Also, do you have a kitchen scale to weigh certain food items ? I’ve exercised most all my life but have never really been super serious about monitoring my diet that closely. Any tips or info is greatly appreciated.

i personally just use the free version of myfitnesspal but if you need an actual AI type app that will adjust things as you go along and "Coach" you, i highly recommend macrofactor
for food scale, i just got one off of amazon and i weigh the portions out to track everything before cooking

Sounds like you are on the Hulkscuses program.

Lol not sure what that is. Yesterday wa just a weird day overall. Dunno why I got so dizzy other than low sugar. Been fine today though and had way more steps today so I dunno.
