I wasn’t sure if that was you or not. And I had to get back to Houma to take call. I just jump on Stadium Dr. and it’s pretty damn quick getting out.

Hoping to maybe go on Sunday but my son has been asking for a fishing trip so we’re getting that in for the morning.

Finished Big Back Billy last week. It was a fine plan but I need a break from the deadlifts (deadlift or snatch grip DL every day). He uses a different rep / % scheme in this compared to some of the other plans that I’ve run so that was interesting. My GOAT program is still Pool Season 2 so that’s what I’m back to this month to kind of reset. Depending on the July program party I’ll either jump in with that or give Stacked Jacked another go. Finish off the summer strong before a deload for Squatober

I ran one of the IG post today; "They Call me BENCHamin".

Warm Up
4x20 Empty Bench Press
4x20 Band Face Pulls

Bench Press
4x10 47-50%
4x7 55-58%
4x5 63-66%
4x3 73-77%
4x1 82,85,88,90%

8x10 BB Bent Row

SS
4x3 Strict Chinup
4x20 BB Shrugs

SS
4x10 Skullcrushers
4x20 Cable Pushdowns

Other than when I hurt my back one day during PS2 doing RDLs, I think this is the 1st time I failed at completing one of his workouts. Gym was busy this morning so only way to do bench was on the smith machine. I dont ever use that machine and just could not get in a good position; everything just felt off from the get go. I normally use the squat rack or standard bench. I think I was on set 11 or 12 (of 24) by the time the bench was free. I made it thru the 4x5 sets and failed the first set of 4x3. I didn't want to push it past that so I stopped bench. I got everything else completed as intended. I plan on giving it another go next Wednesday, but will have a plan B ready. Not planning on using that machine again (already hated it for squats).

184 reps total from empty bar warm up to 1 rep@90%

I'd post it if I knew how, but never bothered to figure that out.

Tweaked my right groin strain again. I'm going to have to try to just go light on the squats for a few weeks and let this damn thing heal.

Ran IG post "Ride the SeeSaw"

Enjoyed this one a lot and will probably keep it as my Sunday workout during "Lets Get Peachy" and just bump up the BP by 1-2% each time.

Rack and bench were both occupied this morning so had to swap up the order (I wasn't going to use the damn smith machine again). Had to run SS 2 before warm-up or SS 1. So I split the warm-up up and added it to SS 1 and SS 2.

Warm-up
Empty bar bench - 3x20 (Ran this SS 1.)
Band Pull Aparts 3x20 (Ran these as the 4th item in SS 2.)

1a. Bench Press - 5@60%, 3@70%, 5@65%, 3@75%, 5@70%, 3@80%, 5@75%, 3@85%, 5@80%
1b. 1-Arm DB Row - 5, 3, 5, 3, 5, 3, 5, 3, 5 (Used 2 different DBs depending on rep count)

2a. BB Upright Rows - 3x10
2b. DB Rear Lats - 3x10
2c. DB Shrugs - 3x10

3. DB Curl to OHP - 3x10

4a. Cable OH Tricep Ext - 5x20
4b. Cable Tricep Pushdown - 5x20

Does the seesaw have deadlifts? I see in the example it has snatch grip deads on day 1 of the training week.

This one did not. The "Friday The 13th" one I did Sarurday had a 3x13 snatch deadlift. I couldn't find a good one that had deadlifts w/o bench or squat. I was avoiding those 2 since Peachy has Squat D1 and Squat/Bench D4.

Edit: IG post "The Strong Survive" has a seesaw of all 3 main lifts (Squat, Bench, Dead). It ends with a SS of chin-ups, farmers carry, and push-ups.

Started The Seesaw last night. I'm modifying it though. I'm cutting out the rotation of sumo and snatch grip deadlifts. I get what he's thinking, but I don't like it. I'm going with conventional deadlift clusters once a week, and an AMRAP every other week

10x1, AMRAP @75%
15x1 @80%
8x1, AMRAP@85%
12X1 @87.5%
