For those who ran Squatober, were there any front squats incorporated?

Looking to do that one next. Really liked the goblet squats in DB Strength.

W1D3 of Jacked Up Joker

Definitely a shorter workout than yesterday (which was needed since I added a 45min body weight circuit to my daily exercise). I also underestimated the 15 rep sets of OHP. I had to drop the weight for sets 2 and 3.

In previewing day 4, I expect to be beat tomorrow.
5x8 squat, 10x10 RDL, 10x10 BB Curls, plus warm up and a couple other smaller lifts.

Knocked out Presidents Day.

Had 8 sets of bench which was nice. I feel like DB is a little lacking in chest if anything.

Right at an hour with a warmup thrown in.

What’s the consensus for March programs? I did Strongville in January and 21 to Party in February. I really liked Strongville, but I’d say I was only above average pleased with 21 to Party. I’ve never really been in love with incredibly high rep workouts, would much prefer more sets with lower reps and higher weights.

Anyone got recommendations for what I should hit for March, or is there a consensus for what everyone is gonna be running? Need a good 4 day program and will do one everyone else is doing if something has been decided.

I’m going dumbbell strength this month. I’m enjoying it so far. Nice change up.

W1D3 DB strength.

Went super light on chest press. Still dealing with this bum shoulder. But the shoulder exercises felt great.

We loaded up the car yesterday and I’m starting the week of random hotel gym workouts today.

We ran Pump City in its entirety during Feb but subbed in machine/cable exercises for all the barbell parts. Gonna run it again starting March 6 but as prescribed with barbell (and NOT as a 6 day program haha). I may try to find a beginners yoga program for flexibility to start too.

I’m noticeably more vascular I feel bigger and stronger than ever. This may be due to salt, heat and humidity (for the vascularity) and not deficit dieting or even weighing in for a month.

W1D4 of Jacked Up Joker....

As predicted, those 10x10s were rough! For RDL, I started at 50% of my 1RM and worked my way up to 65%. I was exhausted by the last rep and almost lost my footing. Workout took exactly 100 min using 2 min rests between sets; it was LONG.

W4d2 superset done. Been fighting a virus the past week and my HR knows it was not my easiest workout. Those 90% squats are my best in several years PR though at 225.

Finishing up "The Mullet" and thinking of running "Meat Wagon Remastered" next. Anyone have experience with it?

Did you enjoy the mullet? Looked at the program summary and seems like a good one!

Right now I’m between silverback or mullet. Anyone got thoughts on either of them?

I liked Silverback. It was kind of Strongville light if I remember correctly. Never done Mullet.

I’ve enjoyed the mullet. I’ve definitely noticed gains in my upper back and arms. Deadlift seems to have improved as well. I like the 4 day a week programs so I can get a run in on Wednesday and Saturday.

W1D5 of Jacked Up Joker

This was a much lighter day than yesterday. Hardest part today was the DB Rear Lats; those were definitely burning.
