re: Pen and Paper Strength App
Posted by Trees For Wheels on 3/9/24 at 2:28 am
Just started 70s Big, day 3.
My plan this year is to follow 5 day PPSA plans. This is what I’m thinking:
March - 70s Big
April - Dr Jacked Remastered
May - Brickhouse OG
June - Pump City Remastered
July - Brickhouse Remastered
August - ?
September-?
October - Squatober
November/December - ?
Goals are strength and size. I lift in my garage. Any suggestions for 5 day plans for August/September/November/December?
Thanks!

I want to run a 5 day program. Goals are mass and strength. Any recommendations? I’ve got a fully equipped home gym and 90 mins a day to train.

Brickhouse is the most balanced of the 4 options listed (elbow meat, filling hoodie, dr jacked). Elbow meat was probably the most fun though. Loved all the forearm work.

I’ve completed W1 of Brickhouse remastered. Really enjoyed the full body workouts. Look forward to Week 2 next week.

I agree, get the good stuff. Buy once, cry once.

Thanks, and that’s great to hear about your deadlift too!
I decided on Brickhouse Remastered and just completed workout 1. Lots of bench volume which is great.
I substituted chins for lat pulldowns (4 sets of 8) because I was training with my partner and she hates chins lol.

Has anyone ran Brickhouse or Brickhouse Remastered?
I ran the original 3 years back and really enjoyed training full-body. I’m about to start a new plan and debating between Brickhouse (probably the remastered version) or Pump City.
