Close enough! Only 12 or so behind a pro too, not too shabby.
Edit: though he may have been pacing

10 miles @11:39 pace
Several short 1-2 mile runs and almost 2-3 miles every day with and without weighted vest this week.
Fixing to binge watch football

Wait, you talking about Cameron or Corey? Or Jarrett
Posted on 8/30/25 at 2:44 pm to Walter White Jr
Jarrett. Don’t know the other guys. I’ve seen the winner around some New Orleans races too. He’s stupid fast.

Yeah Jarrett is a total animal. Brett is really good too, I know they both usually do the Power Mile in NOLA. Jarrett’s team (Levee Breakers) will have 5 or 6 guys there again this year

Wonder how the Power Milers feel about consistently losing their own race

I was wondering the same thing!

I think Louisiana Running Co has a friendly beef with them locally. Both always trying to beat the other in the races around New Orleans. LRC usually recruits UNO runners to work the store and race for them

12 easy miles Saturday. Cooler weather leading to increased zone 2 paces. Turned in a couple of 9/min miles and averaged 10/min total.

Just checking in to say the Megablast is legit af. Showed up this afternoon, and took it for a fun and bouncy 3 miler this evening. My size 13 actually weighs 2 grams less than my Evo sl at 276 grams to 278g. It feels a tad bit squishier than the Evo sl, but a noticeable improvement in energy return, and I already loved the Evo sl. I never bought a pair of the Superblasts so I can’t compare it to them.

I've been considering them but man that's a steep price for a trainer. I'm thinking I could get a superblast or megablast and only use them for long runs to get more mileage out of them

Yeah I probably wouldn’t have pulled the trigger on them either, but I had a credit with running warehouse for a return that I needed to spend. Supposedly it’s a new midsole foam that should have a good bit of longevity, but we’ll see.

From what I’ve watched and read, the MB can easily be a racer. Yowana has been praising it. If it can hold up to miles and is as versatile as claimed, I’m not too put off by the price. Can blame tariffs for part of that pricing too.
I got a fresh pair of On Cloudmonster Hyper on sale for $125. A little over 300 miles on my current pair. Was pleasantly surprised by this shoe and it’s honestly held up really well. A rare good shoe from On.

You missed out, my friend. I'm hoping someone compares the mega and super. The superblast is one of the goats in running shoes.

Tonssssss of people comparing them. Basically, MB equals less firm, more bouncy SB/SB2.

I ran 2 at 8:06. I'm gonna feel it tomorrow.

Nice. I see them in stock and it's so damn tempting, but I have way too many shoes in rotation.
