4:56. Technically a PR as it’s my first.

PR my half time while not ever trying to do that. Cramped at mile 17

Wind in the galleria was just enough to make a bitch out of me.

Now why the frick isn’t there playoff games on tv

Goal was 2:58 and I finished in 2:58:02. Really couldn’t be happier with the result. Shaved 30 mins off my previous PR of 3:28. Ideal weather conditions. Grateful to be able to run and do this kinda shite! Life is good

Honestly for 30 mile weeks that’s not bad at all. If you PRd the half that probably could’ve been in the 4:15is range if you’re in the 40-50 mile area.

Good run man!

Ran my first half-marathon yesterday in 1:51 and 8:30 pace. Extremely happy with the result as my goal was to run in 2 hours or less. Congratulations to all the runners!

Did the half in 2:15 while holding back a good bit. I held 10:30 pace until mile 17 then the wheels came off.

I think under 2 half is doable. which is probably what I am going to start working towards.

Ran the Louisiana Half in 1:37 (PR). Goal was sub 1:40 so I'm happy with the results. Top notch race. Everything from the set up and course to the after party was very well organized. Perfect weather helped of course. Plan to run the full there next year.

Ran the Houston Half in 1:41 only because of weather. I haven't been running much through Dec. maybe 18-24 miles a week. It was one of those races where you didn't suffer or feel terrible and could enjoy being out there.

I say that because I didn't run the full.

that 2.5 mile stretch up Montrose had a straight head wind but the rest of the course was fine.

The high was 40 here in Wichita today so I figured I’d go run outside. Made the bright idea of going in short shorts and no gloves without checking temps at the actual time I was running. Just got in from an hour and I can’t feel my fingers or penis. It’s 32.

Seems like there isn’t an intensity high enough to overcome numb dick on a freezing day.
