I gotta know, what's too cold?

It's been a high of low 30s for the past week here. Already snowed twice. I've been lucky with weekend runs but after-work runs have been a test of my mental fortitude.

Yeah, that's cold. Especially if it isn't perfect out with sunny skies and no wind

10 at 9:00/mile (9 seconds below MP). Average HR was 155.

I have a 25-mile ride tomorrow, but if my riding partner bails, I might just do an easy 7 or 8 at 9:54/mile. I have the longest run of my life on Saturday: 18 at 9:54/mile.

Let's goooooooo boiiiiiizzzzz!!

I hate running in the dark. Guess all my runs are going to have to shift to the morning now.

Got my bike in. Now, it's time for some much needed rest before my long 18 on Saturday.

I like running in the dark as well, especially in the summer when it goes from 73 and muggy in the dark to 86 and muggy the moment the sun peeks over the horizon.

I'm pretty sure that's the correct usage of "peek," but welcome any corrections. Y'all know I'm not a Spanish speaker, but I try to speak English properly

anyone ever dealt with a metatarsal stress fracture? been fighting this for a couple months. found a cheap dr scholls pad that has allowed 3-5 mile pain free runs but doesn't seem like a long term solution. ordered these earlier this week, supposed to arrive friday

shin splints

I just ran through mine and it eventually went away. Just ice and heat after a run and stretch.

Careful .. you could end up with stress fractures. That sucks .. My mri wasn’t good at all.

Shin splints typically come from right calves. Seriously. Also PT helped me with hip strength which helped with everything else — “it all starts at the hips” is what I’ve been told over and over.
