Thanks!
Was honestly probably kind of stupid on my part, most I had ever run was 18 miles and still had 7 weeks of training left before my planned marathon date.
The weather was nice and felt good today so I just went for it.

Well done.

You still gonna run another one in seven weeks? How was your pace? Can you share some splits?

Sub 4 is my goal for my first marathon.

I was so pissed. I swear I stopped at 4.0. Oh well I ran 4.2 last night so I’ll still get the required 48 miles.

Round 7 done

I took it really easy. Pushed the youngest in the stroller and the oldest rode her bike with us. Treated it like an easy family outing. I don’t really care about pace at this point.

Starting to feel it in my legs so just trying to save them for this final stretch tonight.

Knocked down 10 this morning at 8:26 pace. It felt so good outside. Couldn't let a cool morning go to waste.

the weather has been amazing

of course now there is a 50% chance of thunderstorms at 7 tonight, which is my next run

I really don't want to do 4 miles on my backporch

Round 8 in the rain was actually kinda fun

Actually gave me a little pep in my step. And by little I mean an extremely tiny amount, which is about all my legs will give me right now.

So just 4 hours total

I’ll sleep fantastic tomorrow night

We’re wrapping up and hopefully going to get back to normal. The back side of my 30s has been harder then the front side from recovering.

This was what we were doing on top of pressure washing and staining a deck.

Nice facelift, mane! Always satisfaction to be had with home improvements. Never a bad idea to upgrade your biggest investment.

Round 10

This one hurt. My body was super stiff and I couldn’t even attempt to run till after 1.5 miles of walking to warmup. Even then the little running I could muster was super slow.

Hopefully the sun will provide more energy.
