Round 3 down. Way slower. Legs felt fine but just tired. Really not looking forward to this next one.

Time to get a few hours of sleep.

Round 4

Why am I doing this again?

My wife begged me to not run far from the house so just ran up and down the block for 4 miles.

I’m slow but it doesn’t feel slow.

Sleep.

Round 5

Well that sucked. I didn’t give myself enough time to eat or poo or anything, I basically just rolled off the couch and put my shoes on and that was a mistake.

I had no energy and I guess my morning poo comes whether I have coffee or not...

So that resulted in lots of walking/waddling for 4 miles. Oh well.

My goal pace is behind me now and I just want to finish this now. If I have to walk the rest, so be it.

Now to refuel with lots of coffee and eggs.

Ended up 68/1999 in the virtual Crescent City Classic. Top 500 (poster) cut off ended up being 1:04, it's usually right at 45:00. , what a bummer, this virtual world we're all playing in.

Just for comparison, last year I was 203/13,561, so a slight drop in participants. Sad.

@BlackCoffeeKid Holy hell that rocks! Especially with what I imagine was no course support.

Thanks fellas.

Planned ahead and put a water bottle on the side of the road at mile 13 and prayed nobody would take it.

Round 6

Halfway!

I was able to run most of this one. Felt way better. I pushed my daughter in the BOB, so had to slow down/stop a few times to tend to her but overall moved quite well.

this sounds awful. have fun brochacho.

i've been doing some heavy home renovation and barely gotten 10 miles a week most of the quarantine. done with that for the most part so i hopefully can pick it up after this weekend.
