Ah, found it now. I started using Strava at the beginning of the year, just haven't joined any of the clubs until now.

20 minutes easy-ish today. Probably around 8 minute pace but I don't have a working Garmin anymore and hate running with my phone.

I have a little bit of pain in the ball of my foot up to my big toe. It started when I was wearing shitty shoes to work, and switching to something with some support has made it better. Still flares up though. Anyone ever had this and got a remedy? I'd guess it's tendonitis but that's just a guess.

Yowza!

Yeah, I like looking at it too.

Got me a used copy of "Lore of Running" by Tim Noakes today. Didn't realize it is 1,000 pages and reads like a College textbook. All in.

These early mornings are gonna kill me

Couldn’t get around this morning so got 6 instead of 8. I’ll have more time tomorrow so will try the 8 then.

Been cooling it more with the running but ramped up the cycling(about 180 miles over 3 rides last 2 weeks) and swimming(2k every other day).

Did an easy 6 this morning, swim tomrorrow, run easy 6 on Thursday, easy spin and swim friday.

This Sunday:
1.2 mile swim
56 mile bike
13.1 mile run

Took the family on a hike.

We both almost killed each other. Them to me for walking at a sub 20:00 pace. Me to them for walking slower than 27:00.

We’re about to go to Colorado for a hiking trip and they’re going to need to get their shite together because, while I get that I’m faster than them, homey don’t play “gentle stroll through the forest.”

Holy shite, I could have typed this whole thing about me and my family. It drives me bananas.

I plan it out so that I can go break off on a separate hour or so hike while the family has stopped for lunch. I also push them a little harder on days one and two so that I can often solo hike on day three. If not, we will argue just about the entire time.

What part of you guys headed to?

I’m planning on getting up in the morning and doing some runs before they get up. I tend to do well waking up early in pacific and mountain time.

Steamboat Springs.

They have some really good MTB trails you can hit after the thaw. Enjoy yourselves.
