I wear a variety of reflectors and light up arm bands. Just so much easier when they're already on the shirt and shorts. The headlamp I recently purchased and posted the link to has red pulsating lights in the back. Gives me so much more peace of mind than when I don't run with it.

I just got these to log some mileage in, haven’t gotten a run in yet curious how they are

And then got these just for casual wear and cause I think they look great.

Did my 199th run of the year. Central Park as usual. Was extra quiet tonight. Periods where I couldn’t see another soul which in NYC was apocalyptic feeling. So soothing. 5 miles, 7:20 pace. Killed the last mile sub 7.

Good workout this am before the ensuing flash flooding. Trade off were 20 MPH winds.

1 WU
5 @ HMGP (8:17, 7:58, 8:03, 8:03, 7:55)
1 CD

Holy hell these Zoom Fly are pretty stellar after getting the feel of them and/or breaking them in. They feel rather...effortless at times. I feel good enough with them to keep them in the closet till race day. Bad part about it is I’m now even more curious about the 4%’s. Uh, no.

We got hit with a heavy rain and wind thru th enight and this morning. Didn't get a run and did upper body workout. Looks like rain in the forecast for my Sunday long run. I think I may do my treadmill mile/leg workout routine both tomorrow and Sunday.

For xmas, finally got a paddleboard. can't wait to use it. If it clears up, I may try it today or tomorrow.

I just joined that challenge and I think a lululemon one because you mentioned it

Going to be skiing next week, may put a dent in my mileage

Helluva tradeoff there! Unfortunately we’ll be skipping this season with the little one and all.

A simple one. Xterra Cloud 10' inflatable. There's a sale right now for $399. I've tried these at the Xterra races and they're ok for the lake I live on. I'm not sure I'd be doing any galveston bay excursions with this one. I'm hoping the wife enjoys it and we will upgrade.

That’s my speed for sure. Pond in my backyard and neighborhood lake. Damn, that’s a pretty steep discount. Is the regular price really $1,200?

Probably not what you are hoping to hear but....

I started in the zoom fly SPs and thought they were okay, once broken in I liked them

Bought the 4% for racing and LOVEEEEE them, so much more comfortable than the zooms.

Now I have the zoom fly flyknits for my training runs and the 4%s for my races
Zooms are nice, but the 4% are wayyyyy more comfortable and even more effortless with the Zoom X foam and carbon plate

and yes...I am a shoe whore

Cool, hopefully the weather is decent. I’ll probably be out there either Fri or Sat also for packet pickup/Expo. As I mentioned, may hop in the 5K on Sat. I really want to go all out for a 5K in this shape and nail a PR, but not sure if that’s a good plan the day before the Half.

re: 4% —— NOT what I wanna hear being as impulsive as I am but that’s consistent with what’s online also. And to top it off, Dicks just emailed me a 10% coupon to thank me for the ZF purchase, LOL.

That would be a retail price in stores but since they sell direct, that's their price. Online only. The same for their wetsuits. That's why they are usually the most popular wetsuits. They cut out the middleman.

Canyon Bikes does the same thing.

Anytime I think about such a purchase I think about all the sex I won’t be having if I ever gave in to such frivolities.
