most doctors are retarded when talking mens hormones. thats why when i found a great one at Baylor i stayed with him

we usually sit and talk for 30 min about latest peptide protocols people are using. asks me for links to thinks, names of books etc. very rare

Thats awesome and I’m jealous. The only peptides my providers know of is insulin and a little about GLPs.

The ironic thing was after nearly 18 years of using myself as a science/chemistry experiment when I decided to get off I wanted to do it the correct way - under doctors supervision and have everything prescribed to me and monitored instead of sourcing it myself. Was told 'no' by every single one of them

cheaper and easier to just do yourself, the only pain the in arse is the blood work and depending on the state, simple possession can be a felony.

I’ve wondered about traveling with TRT meds, especially internationally. Is that generally no big deal?

Not if you’ve got a prescription. I wouldn’t fly with some UGL stuff

Script is no problem, no script = felony more than likely depending on the state

put in correct vial and only syringes needed for the flight and do not try and carry on. put into luggage and then you will be fine. i have been anyways. but i didnt take the times i went abroad as it was only 7-8 days max. just took very large dose before leaving. domestic has been zero issue though.

So what would be considered crazy high for both test and free test numbers? Before I post my last blood test, I'm just curious. I'm a little concerned about my numbers.

i mean out of range is high, i would consider anything of 2000 for total pretty high for trt.

i dont get wound up on numbers though for trt as its bio identical. if you want to cycle it, go ahead but when you start adding other androgens is when issues arise

just cant stay at above normal doses for years without issues usually. so just recognize that.

Ok, my free test was 390, my total test was 1500, bioavailable was 800.

I'm on .15ml/daily( yeah I already know your thoughts on that) which didn't seem excessive till I read your OT post the other day. I definitely don't want to be dealing with long term issues. I might self adjust to .10ml and then have my doctor retest me in a few months.

I can tell you I feel great coming from 300 total test numbers, but not at the cost of my health.

So thats 200mg/wk if you’re using 200mg/mL test. You’re on the high end of TRT with that dose. If it were me, I’d probably drop down a little (160-180/wk) and re check labs in 12 weeks. But some people can tolerate those levels without side effect so it’s all dependent on how you feel and handle it. What did your provider say about it? How old are you?

your fine right now. keep it at that and then see where your blood markers are in 4-6 months. Usually test wont make your markers go out of wack

i can imagine you are a walking hard on though. thats higher than peak puberty numbers but nothing crazy.

make sure you are lifting your arse off during that time frame, take advantage of it for sure.

ftr my advice above is based on assumption he is having no side effects and this provider is good with it and he is breaking dosing up into atleast 2 shots per week.

Theres a really good Dr. In Gonzales who can help you.
Dr Adams... yes he's a gyno but he specializes in mens hormones too.

Is he the bald guy? I may hit him up.

Appreciate the tip on Boron. Just started 10mg this morning and will continue to take daily. Will see how it does. I did get my testosterone checked a couple of months ago, but can't remember what my levels were. I do remember the nurse said I had the levels of a 20 year old though (I'm 48).

My thyroid levels did indicate possible hypothyroidism. I need to get that rechecked again.

Bumping this thread. Had labs done last week. Total testosterone 280, free testosterone 10.7. Been on 9mg Boron daily since Thanksgiving. I don’t feel “bad” or any different than normal. Been working out consistently 2-3 days/week for over a year. I am fat. 6’4”, 295lbs. Should I start T injections, or see if some weight loss brings the testosterone up some?
