In a nutshell. It made me a moody bitch. My wife and I very very rarely argue, and while on clomid, we fought nonstop. I was insecure to the point where I’d get pissed at her for talking to her girlfriend. Dumb stuff like that, very unlike me. I usually don’t give a shite about much. But the urologist also had me on a huge dose of arimidex (1mg twice a week) so that could’ve easily played a part in my mood. Either way, it was a bad experience. 0/10 do not recommend clomid for testosterone therapy.

I know a handful of people who have gone from clomid to oils and they all say it’s the best decision ever.

IMO it’s not a good sustainable TRT option at all. Oils & compound creams are the only routes I’d take. Just my .02

yea best experience ever if you like crying randomly uncontrollably every time a god damn sarah mclachlan comes on

frick clomid with a large thorny stick....I would rather have zero testosterone than take that shite

only good thing about clomid is you shoot huge loads....which doesnt do a lot of good considering most people are taking it as part of a fertility treatment or a post cycle therapy

honestly clomid isnt that bad for ~10-12 weeks its the long term use past 16 weeks were i started getting the emotional problems.

Can you all learn me on Boron? Should I take it while on TRT? I keep seeing it mentioned in different discussions.

yes you should. Can get away with higher free test levels at lower doses which means you have lower doses overall and less risk.

clomid only raised me a little over 100 points. I was at 226 i think before and was in the 340 range while on clomid

not worth it at all

after i got off fertility treatment cause it worked...i was 81. thats when i started trt

all the clomid was for was to keep my test levels within range or high enough for me to be able to frick 4+ times per week while we were trying for my youngest son. I had no problems with first two at all, very very easy. took a year on clomid and hcg for last kid. Turns out my varicocele had gotten really bad after my 2nd.

It bumped me from 280 to almost 1000 but still felt like arse. I’d never recommend it to anyone except for fertility reasons, which it didn’t help me at all. Same story here with the varicocele.

I just got my newest testosterone levels back, and I am at 720 total and 24.7 free. I haven't spoken the doc yet, but is there anything to be concerned with regarding the 24.7 free?

For reference, I was at 290 total and 5.9 free last October before we switched protocols.

I'm still doing the 100mg of test cyp every 5 days.

24.7 free is very good! Most would kill for those levels

almost 4 weeks in, a itchy AF rash started popping up at the injection site last week and it lasts for ~2 days. Internet says I'm likely developing an allergy to the oil. Lovely

FYI - per the suggestion of some here and online, I got a longer needle. Went from 5/16" to 5/8". Has much improved the rash - I still get one but it is mild compared to how bad it was when the oil was injected closer to the surface. Still going the subQ route for now.

Yessir. Great #’s. Hell of a response to 100mg.

Awesome. I wasn’t expecting it. The first protocol was 200mg every 14 days. My numbers were 290 and 5.9 afterwards.

She switched me to 200mg every 10 days, but I went ahead and did 100 every 5 to eliminate big peaks/troughs. All my labs were drawn at my low just prior to injecting.

Are you all getting tested through your MD or one of the direct lab packages? If the latter any recommendations of one that’s legit?

Ulta is a good option if you only checking 1-2 times a year.

If you’re going to be checking more frequently, 3-4X a year, I highly recommend Fitomics. It’s a $25/month subscription and labs are prob 1/3 the price of ulta and other similar sites. They go though labcorp

Your local labcorp draws them. It’s easy. I usually go to 730 appointments and outta there by 0740.

piling on the anti-clomid train here - tried it, absolutely HATED it. I describe my Clomid experience as the closest I ever want to come to experiencing what a woman goes through with a mega case of PMS. Switched to TRT and never looked back.
