What are you trying to get out of it? It's no miracle cure for an injury, but it is great to relieve soreness from a workout.

If you are in Baton Rouge, they have a place in Perkins Rowe that offers it.

Kinda, but not for the money. I don’t think it does nearly as much for you as an ice bath does, but it is more convenient and less complicated/messy,etc.

One cryo and normatec compression session is more enjoyable than going to a spa in my opinion

The cold and compression is a legit recovery thing. It will definitely help.

It just tends to be cost prohibitive for how often you need it. If you work out 4x a week, those recovery sessions get expensive fast.

Not really, a lot of people do it but its not really worth it. Unless you can do it for free

This. A good ice bath is even better imo.

After practice if you sat in one for 10 minutes, you felt like you could go again afterwards.

Ice baths are easy. Just put it in your bath tub and let it melt. Or turn the shower on to melt the ice.

A good ol' ice bath hurts so fricking bad, but is so worth it.

Does it work? Yes, probably the best recovery option out there. Does it make muscles bigger or make you stronger? No. Is it expensive? Hell yea. Is it worth it? Probably only if you are a high performance athlete
