Missed a set of push-ups because I was gassed from the soul suckers. Good workout otherwise. W2D3 done.

w1d4 done. I subbed the curls and grip circuit for neutral grip chins and hangs from the bar. was scared to get after it after hurting my wrist last time. I am actually glad I did because my wrist is a little tender.

Sore chest today, and something else in the back of my shoulder. Hoping I get used to benching everyday soon.

The soreness doesn’t go away but the bench does seem to get easier

W2D4 done. Bench and squats felt great; actually did pause reps for the 55% squats and was very slow on eccentric for all benching. Added weight on seated OHP (140lbs felt very close to my limit by the end) and db curls (45s and last reps were right about failure). Feeling super strong and big and good this week.

W2D5 just finished and my back is PUMPED from the 4x20 rows after lat pulldowns and benching. This workout is blowing my back up. I can feel the accumulated bench/back volume today; looking forward to a couple days off.

Halfway done brochachos!

I wrapped up w1d5 last might. Will start week 2 Sunday and try and make sure I get atleast 3 weeks in this month.

W2D5 done, but had to cut it a bit short. I sub push downs for skullcrushers and my triceps just stopped functioning after a while.

I’m getting a Rogue curl bar in January, I think.

I also sub a pulley movement for skullcrushers, but I sub overhead extensions as I think they hit the same parts of the triceps.

I dunno how everyone else is feeling, but I’m feeling super great this month. Down a couple lbs since starting on Dec 5, but still adding weight to everything you fill in and doing some slow eccentric/pause reps on bench every day. Forearm size and vascularity improving and just generally feel stronger every day.

Eat that protein and get some big sleeps. I am extending my off days due to my shite right elbow, I am sure I can bench a lot more if my elbow could ever catch up.

Still leery about getting heavy on bench from the pec tear videos I’ve watched. I progress really slow and don’t bounce off my chest, so hopefully no injuries come my way. I’ll set my PR this month, but won’t go crazy trying to set single rep PR. I’ll go for reps instead.

We doing a PR day? Maybe the Saturday or Sunday after W4D5?
