RPM is like emom workouts right? That could be a pita with a lifting buddy.

Whatever we choose I think I’m going to do a mini cut for June. I have slowly cultivated mass back up to 194 (from 187) running pump city, PS1 and PS2. Going to try and cut back down to 185 or so and see if my wife notices abs.

Yea it emom

And yea I’m cutting again starting Tuesday, try to maintain until then

I’ll start the thread but think I’m gonna do Greyskull for the 8 weeks and try to push my strength hard during the cut to maintain as much as possible.

The months we ran Squatober and Strongville were my most effective at cutting weight compared to Arm Farm and Big Bench for Christmas. Not sure if it’s more calories burned during the lifting or better sleep or what.

This month I feel that I’m BARELY recovering from Pool Season 2. Been waking up stiff and having to do more stretches/mobility work for my lower back. I have been setting squat PRs almost every day though last couple weeks by doing the top set as AMRAP, or throwing in a 2 plate amrap at the end as a finisher. Hmm maybe that is why I’m stiff all the time now that I think about it.

My goal for this month was to drop 8-10lbs. I’m down 6 so far, eating Keto/low carb (not tracking macros).

Probably why I felt sluggish toward the end of the longer PS2 workouts

I dropped 5.5# during Jacked Up Joker, 5.3# during Pool Season 1, and 9.5# so far during Pool Season 2. I also started Oak Tree after JUJ and ran it on off days until I finished it on 5/14. Week 4 of JUJ is when I started counting calories and make better (informed) decisions.

One more day baws. I’m thinking of doing a deload next week. Maybe run a week of dumbbell at about half weight then jump into whatever we decide to do for June.

W4D4 DONE!

Finshed! Took about 1:30 total. Bench, rows, and chins were easy. Pushdowns, pushups (because I was getting beat on the pushdowns), and zottman curls were the rough ones.
Post-workout cardio was cutting grass this morning!

Happily taking the week off to relax. I am beat!

(12# lost during PS2)

Just finished week 2 of Filling up the Hoodie. I’ll cut this one short and jump in whatever we follow for June though.

Just finished as well; I ended up really liking PS2.

I feel like I gained strength and size.

W4D2 done. Going to try and finish this weekend

I’m going on vacation in two weeks so I’ll probably sit out the June PPSA. Definitely will be back in July. Probably do w7/8 of grasshopper and mix in some of the random PPSA workouts that have been posted in June.

I think I’m going to also do DB workouts for a week or so as well and take a mini break from the heavy barbell work.
