Peaked at W4 and think it’s gonna be an epic one, so pumped!

I’ve done 4 of these PPSA programs back-to-back since the start of the year. Think I’m gonna take a full week off after finishing this one and do nothing but mobility, stretching, and some low impact cardio.

Feeling really strong but can tell some things are getting overly stressed and wanna be patient to ensure I don’t get a real setback. I feel like I’ve gotten to this point so many times and then hit a setback so trying to set myself up for continued gainz.

Been a really good year so far fellas, let’s keep it up!

W3D4 done
I was a little behind this week. Baseball on Friday and all day and night on Saturday. So far I’m enjoying pool season. Not how I like to train with all the supersets and fluff but there’s no denying the results. My side delts are poppin.

W3D4 done I’m behind too, due to a busy weekend.

I had to cut it short today so I’m going to make up the Skulls/21 Superset one day this week

Hopefully good things for Jose’s family today. For my family: W3D4 down. We did db upright rows with same weights as the curl/shoulder press, and that was a hell of a superset! We both set PRs for the seated OHP today: I got 145x10 on top set which was really close to failure by the end.

This is also my favorite PPSA program; looking forward to another week then Pool Season 2 :)

Same. Thinking of little baby Jose. Hope you are still getting to hold her.

Looking forward to week 4. These weeks are flying by.

W4D1 down

Switched to a 95%TM. I was in a bit of a rush so I cut down the rest times to 90s to save a little time. Overall, plan was really good. Even with the bump in TM and shorter rest, everything was doable with (I felt) good form while still forcing you to push some.

Looking forward to those deadlifts tomorrow!

Ugh, strained my groin in the squats. Hoping it’s minor but still pissed me off, gonna see how it feels tomorrow

Felt strong on the bench, been a while since I did a set of 5 reps at 225 on bench, even threw an extra one in for good measure! Love seein the progress!

I felt weak on bench today. I rounded everything up and still got them all in just didn’t feel strong for some reason.

W4D1 done. I was lazy changing the weights for bench, so I did the sets of 3,4,5 then went up to the next weight.

I did this as well but it was purely an accident since I’m an idiot who has issues following directions.

Man you gotta try it once the correct way. I’d never done a setup like that and REALLY liked it, felt like you got to work strength on the 80% sets while working explosiveness and form on the 60% sets, big fan!

I just took a leak at day 4 and WTF is all I gotta say. Anyone got a clue what sorta percentage is right for bench or really any of the weights? Feel like it’s gonna hafta to be much lighter than would expect.

Not the best day for someone in a public gym. Let me take the bench for 30 min while I also run around everywhere else. I’ll give it a go though.

You might can use DB bench since the next three are DB work, if someone is using the bench.

I will no doubt underestimate the difficulty and go to heavy on my numbers at first, seems to happen every Friday

i accindently did 3,4,5 on every one

so ended up 3x3 at lowest weight, 3x5 at highest. oh well.

killed dips too

but i did hurt my shoulder last night, not from lifting....but my wife and i have the beds that move so its like 2 twins in a king frame, anyways she went to use the bath room and sheet came off, i went to put it back on for her and i guess reached and pulled weird since i was half a sleep, this morning shoulder is hurting pretty good. gonna have to do lots of pre-hab rest of week for sure.

W4D1 done. I liked the bench workout, pretty easy. That last rep of 5 @ 80% was a little spicy but good.
