I used to use ON but I try to eat as clean as possible now and It had artificial sweeteners. I’ve done a lot of research and was about to get Promix but I stumbled upon “Levels” whey protein on amazon and now I’m stuck between the two. Only reason I’m considering levels now is because it had about 3200 5 star ratings vs 1600 5 star ratings. None of the websites I was on mentioned Levels. TIA for any input.

Here was were I got my info from if you want to look at it. Goes over pros and cons

I don't have an answer but i'm going to ask a naive question ... why are you trying to avoid the additives in ON? I don't know much about the effects of them on one's system.

It has sucralose which isn’t good for your body long term (tricks your body and can lead to Illnesses). It’s also not grass fed which means the cows are fed corn and soy which isn’t their natural diet. These few things change the Quality of nutrition and it’s composition. Same thing when people buy grass fed beef. Your body uses the product better because it’s natural

Kind of off subject but There’s a guy on YouTube called flavcity and basically explains how you should look at the ingredients In the foods you buy. Does reviews on all the foods in popular grocery stores and has a “Bobby approved” list

Google star ratings are artificial.

And most ratings sites base their rankings on those artificially boosted ratings.

Just FYI.

Do all ON proteins have these added sugars?
Also, I have used Naked grass fed whey and liked it. Definitely have to mix something with it though as the unflavored version is pretty gross alone.

ON does have a “naturally flavored” whey. It’s doesn’t say what sugar they did add so it’s most likely a highly processed one. It also still has soy. Cleaner than the normal one for sure but still not great.

I used Naked's Goat whey for a while and it treated me much better than everything else I've used.

I stopped using whey protein about 18 months ago and now I wonder why I ever did. It's like you start lifting weights and follow a script, gotta get your whey.

Sometimes I still hit the same daily protein total, sometimes I don't, never noticed any difference. Sometimes I wonder how much $ I wasted over the years.

Transparent Labs

This is what I use. They have Isolate and Concentrate, no artificial sweeteners and 100% grass fed

I've been using Promix for about a year and love it. Nothing added and mixes well.

Nothing buy whey. No artificial BS. No additives of any kind. Just pure whey. Sure. Non flavoring, but that doesn’t matter to me.

I’ve tried Levels before. I think this stuff is more pure. No stomach issues. No nothing.

It’ll give you a nice foam and it’s actually kinda creamy. Doesn’t taste bad at all. Just adopts pretty much the flavor of whatever you mix it with.
