I think you need some cardio movements in there too.

I'd be down. I'm trying to break 10 reps with 225, so I might have a real combine number there.

On the 40, as long as it isn't laser timed and my wife is doing the hand timing, I think I can do ok. My day job doesn't project easily to max vert, and that's all I'll say there.

My best is 21 reps at 225 within the last year.

I was just spitballing the lifts that should be included.

So.. what’s your cardio ideas?

5K run?
2K row?
400m swim?

Unless you're being paid to run, I can't imagine a single scenario where a 40 year old would need to know what their 40 time is, nor why it would be important in any way.

I disagree. Running a 40 yd sprint in your 40’s means something really bad is happening.

Not so much interested in the actual time, but interested in what I can out-run or what I can catch. Bc you not doing that for fun.

Sitting at a table and some trash snatches your ole lady’s purse...do I even get up and chase or just start canceling the credit cards??

I ran a full out 100ish meter sprint at the end of a workout the other day.

We have a turn around at about 55 meters. My quads were shot at the end of a 20 min emom

I had tgat sensation of my gut being wayyy in front of my legs. I was thinking I was going to look like Derek P and tumble my way thru the finish. I don’t know my time but it was slow

Well, you make me feel bad about myself and I sort of dislike you now.

I'll console myself that I have more of a CB build. Whether I have CB speed is not the question at hand.

I’m 5-10 195.. built more like a SS.

I’ll try and find the video of my last 225 for reps and post it.

I'm built like a blocking tight end that retired 10 years ago and stopped working out

I found the video and it’s on the gram. I’ll post it later.

If we did a combine here, I feel confident that I'd have excellent bench strength for a punter, decent speed for a guard and good size for a CB.

LINK

Video
135x12
185x5
225x2
245x1
265x1
300x1
310x1

Sped up 2x to squeeze it in imgur.

I also hit 285x1 but didn’t video it.

Followed it up with 225x10

Who says you need either long head bicep tendon to bench?

I’m surprised I was able to hit 310.

I’ve been lucky to get a full chest workout once a month and it’s only been 12 days since I tore the left long head bicep tendon.

About 20-25 lbs off my lifetime PR.
