Unless you're being paid to run, I can't imagine a single scenario where a 40 year old would need to know what their 40 time is, nor why it would be important in any way.

Am 48 and have been doing a lot of speed work lately. Haven't timed myself in about a year but ran a 4.47 then. Would imagine I have shaved a few ticks off.
