All this supplementation from sketchy places seems potentially problematic.
Right. because only using medications prescribed by American doctors are the safe way to go.. Big pharma in the US absolutely has our health and wellness as their top priority so people should never seek out alternative sources for the things they choose to optimize their own bodies with.
Perhaps YOU are happy walking around with 15 extra pounds on your waist and telling yourself that you have good cardio and you're happy with what you see in the mirror... not all men are OK with being soft though.

but in the end...why do you care what other people do...literally has zero effect on you

RHR of 44 is nice man.
Agreed , nutrition is absolutely one of the cornerstones of this game.
Some folks want to push boundaries and limits with bio-optimization, and we only get one life so I say have at it and do what makes you happy , sometimes there is a little risk involved when you want a big return.
I just thought you sounded a little judgy when you used the word 'sketchy' and might be assuming that folks who use grey sourcing aren't making damn sure their source is reputable and tested. I'm sure there are slews of young gym bros who don't care about harm reduction but those kids aren't on this board...
kudos on the marathon running , these old knees cant keep up with you.

Wasn't judging, but I do worry about supplement sources. I dont know all the safeguards these days just that in the past there were supplement companies not actually including much of the main ingredient. Plus, im a little curious if im missing out.
My knees are great because I didn't start running distance much until 5 years ago. My shoulders hurt because i used to lift incorrectly during the 90s. Overworked them. At some point I probably should reduce mileage because Ive read those knee replacement threads on the OT.

I have pictures of that too.I was 26, lived in the gym cause I was a trainer at Fitness World in Shreveport, was on 450 mg test a week and got my meal plan from my friend that used to compete. I'm 44 now on 150 mg and I guarantee I look better than you have ever been in in your whole life. Now look your momma in the eye and tell her what I said and that you did nothing about it.
