Before. 5 am is a peaceful time to work out. No one really to share the road with if you’re running and the gym is pretty vacant if you’re lifting.

I'm amazed at people who find the time to work out before work.

FIFY

Luckily (for me) I’m a morning person.

As soon as my eyes open, I’m on.

I can be running within ten minutes of waking up.

My biorhythms are set for night time. I’ve set my alarm early to train early morning workout like 190 times never to go to the gym I need those times

I can start my day whenever, but I’d rather sleep.

Your body gets used to waking up early pretty quick. Down side is waking up at 5 am on the weekend and the gym doesn't open til 7

Morning if you can handle the early start time. Your whole day is much better starting out with a workout. You will find you're more productive at work and your evenings can be spent with spouse, kids, friends, hobbies, or whatever applies to you.

Because I would hazard that most people's pre-work free hours are more limited than most people's post-work free hours.
